With a divorce rate of 0.94 per marriage, the Schleswig-Holstein city of Neumünster led the statistics last year, as information portal Fraudstest.com found in a recently published analysis of 130 German cities. Overall, most divorces have been filed in the north, while a particularly large number of marriages continue in the south. Last year, 357,800 couples said yes nationwide – 142,800 couples divorced again. This corresponds to a rate of 0.4.
