Munich: The Bavarian state government has appealed to citizens to comply with the FFP2 mask requirement that will apply from tomorrow. Transport Minister Schreyer said the virus is mutating and becoming more aggressive. That is why it is wise to use all possibilities. This included FFP2 masks, which also protected the wearer himself from infection. The obligation to wear an FFP2 mask will apply from tomorrow, for example, in public transport and when shopping and – as Schreyer emphasized – also at all train stations, stops and in taxis. In public transport, no fines should be imposed in the first week for violations, provided that the passengers wear the previously prescribed mouth and nose cover.
