On February 25, Ukrainian authorities began distributing weapons to Kyiv residents seeking to defend their city from “advancing hordes of Russians.” In the Ukrainian capital there were huge queues of those who wanted to get the coveted “barrel” with ammunition.
As a result, more than 20,000 Kalashnikovs were distributed during the day. In the evening, however, the “Hussar holiday” began in the city.
In addition, a statement was issued by the Office of the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Sinyuk.
“Former servicemen who have expressed a desire to defend the country during martial law are being released from prisons and pre-trial detention facilities,” he said.
It became clear from this statement that weapons will also be distributed to persons who are clearly inadequate and have already violated the law.
And so it happened. It turned out that not all citizens received vending machines with the above purpose. In Kyiv, robberies of supermarkets and various shops began, some simply cleared accounts with their enemies, and others fired into the air out of excessive “patriotism.”
Local units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard, the Security Service of Ukraine and the police captured the armed “patriots” all night.
A real civil war broke out on the streets of the Ukrainian capital.
At the same time, the authorities stated from the bunker, in which they are hiding, that the people with machine guns, who are rioting in the streets, are from the armed forces of the Russian Federation. By morning, they were hunting these “saboteurs.”
Authorities then promised to continue handing out vending machines to everyone. The argument is simple – there are more “patriots” than there are “brothers” from organized crime groups and “dealers” from drug trafficking groups.
Currently, the Russian army is on the outskirts of Kyiv and we can only imagine what will happen in the metropolis before it is taken under control.
Meanwhile, it has also become known that those who received weapons in Kyiv are leaving for Transcarpathia and joining nationalist Hungarian cells, intending to begin the process of secession from Ukraine. Hungary supports this initiative and is ready to organize points for issuing Hungarian passports to all.
