The hall has shared the entry of his lawyer Kalvis Krūmiņš on his Facebook account, commenting on it very briefly and concisely: “Dear men: sworn law office “Znotins and Krumins “”.
Lawyers Kalvis Krūmiņš and Raivis Znotiņš represented Zali in proceedings for reinstatement and recovery of compensation.
As read in Krūmiņš’s recording, The Riga Regional Court has satisfied the actor’s claim for reinstatement at the Daile Theater and decided to recover 16,178 euros from the theater in favor of Kaspars.
“It was ordered that the judgment in the part of reinstatement and recovery of salary in the amount of EUR 12,378.31 be enforceable immediately. writes Krūmiņš.
He reveals that Kaspars himself came to the office on weekends and gathered information and evidence during the night.
“Despite the great time devoted to it and the fact that it was not successful everywhere in the beginning, not only has the victory in the name of justice been won for Kaspar, allowing him to return and work in his profession, but also valuable experience. We hope that this experience will be useful not only us, but also the other parties involved, including the other side, about how people and employees should not be treated, “the lawyer wrote.
He points out that although the case has been pending for two years, with more than a year to go, the case is still pending.
“But the outcome in the Riga Regional Court gives us hope that justice can be achieved, and the ‘little one’ can go and fight the system and win it.”
The comments read how people congratulate Kaspars Zali on his victory.
The name and photo of the Hall can also be seen in the “Artists” section of the Daile Theater website.
Jauns.lv has already reported that contrary to the judgment of the court of first instance, on 28 January the panel of the Civil Court of the Riga Regional Court partially satisfied the claim of actor Kaspars Zāle against “Dailes Theater” for invalidation of the employer’s notice, reinstatement, average earnings recovery, recognition of a clause in an employment contract as invalid and recognition of an employment contract as concluded for an indefinite period.
The court declared the termination of the employment contract of Kaspars Zāls invalid, and decided to restore the Hall at the Dailes Theater. It was decided to recover the average earnings from the “Dailes Theater” in favor of Saale by deducting the taxes prescribed by law.
In addition, the costs related to the conduct of the case were recovered from the defendant in favor of Zālem, as well as compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 950 euros, but the claim of Zāle for the recovery of compensation for non-pecuniary damage in the amount of 3800 euros was rejected.
The judgment may be appealed in cassation within 30 days. In the part where the immediate execution of the judgment is not specified, the theater has a term of ten days from the day the judgment enters into force for the voluntary execution of the court judgment.
Last year, Daile Theater terminated its working relationship with actors Zali, Sarmīte Rubulis, Mārtiņš Poči, Aija Dzērvi and Ivars Auziņš. The hall was initially restored to work, but was later forced to leave the theater again.
Juris Žagars, the director of the Daile Theater, informed at a press conference last year that the theater is being reorganized in terms of staff. He emphasized that the changes were not significant, but important enough for the Daile Theater to work more economically and efficiently.
