U General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine reported that the selection of an appropriate specialist who will soon become the “voice” of the Southern Defense Forces is ongoing.
Natalya Gumenyuk published a post on Facebook today that probably has a reference to her dismissal. Although there is no direct mention of this in the publication.

Conflict between media workers and Gumenyuk: what preceded the dismissal
- On April 16, the Institute of Mass Information published a statement in which media workers complained that they were prohibited from being in many areas on the southern front.
- The media explained that because of this, the public loses the opportunity to see the crimes committed by the occupiers. Journalists demanded that Natalya Gumenyuk be dismissed from her position.
- The next day, April 17, Gumenyuk responded to the calls of journalists and rejected the accusations of the media workers. She noted that she was acting in full accordance with the order.
