Yang continued that the river’s cloud has a length of 300 light years as if it is a long winding river in the universe, while the Phoenix cloud that takes the shape of a large bird weighs about 200 thousand times the weight of the sun, indicating that the molecular clouds that exceed 100 thousand times the weight of the sun are considered giant molecular clouds .

The discovery of the two molecular clouds is the latest achievement of a major project called the Milky Way that was launched in 2011 by the Observatory to explore the distribution, structure, and physical properties of clouds with a view to obtaining a picture of the vast Milky Way.
