The Discount Program for Adding Electrical Power is Extended, Here’s How to Get It

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com – PT PLN (Persero) again extended the discount program add power by 75 percent. This discount is valid for SMEs and Small and Medium Industries (IKM) players until 30 November.

PLN Executive Vice President for Corporate Communication and CSR, Agung Murdifi, said that the decision was taken due to the high interest of UMKM and IKM customers.

As of November 9, 2020, there are already 45,000 customers who have registered for the discount program.

“We see that customer enthusiasm is still quite high, there are still many MSME and IKM customers who need this program. Therefore, we will extend it again until November 30, 2020,” Agung said in a written statement, quoted Wednesday (11/11/2020).

Agung explained that this discount program applies to business and industrial low voltage tariff groups ranging from 450 Volt Ampere (VA) to 13,200 VA power with a choice of final power up to 16,500 VA power.

“Through this program, we want to provide super economical power-added cost relief to help increase the productivity of MSMEs and SMEs in the midst of a pandemic,” he said.
