According to tradition, we take down the Christmas trees on January 6, the day of Epiphany – this is the end of the festive season in homes, and we return to the usual everyday life. It is not certain that the tree will last that long, and many people throw it away prematurely, because it is already shedding needles so much, it is already so dry that the branches break off easily.
This year too, the discarded trees will be delivered in an organized manner, we asked László Márton, the delivery manager of Dunanett Nonprofit Kft., for information on the dates. As he said, two days have been designated for this: on January 13 and 27 (the second and fourth Saturday of the month), their colleagues will collect the trees, which were already considered green waste. The population is asked to display the pines to be transported in an orderly manner next to the garbage bins in accordance with customs.
