The 15-year-old girl has been missing since September 23, in Bas-Rhin. His mother calls to “let the investigation take its course”.
The mother of Lina, a 15-year-old teenager who disappeared on September 23 in Bas-Rhin, “calls not to relay unverified information” and to “let the investigation take its course”, told AFP on Wednesday his lawyer, Me Matthieu Airoldi.
Lina’s mother “calls not to relay unverified information, to let the investigation take its course and not to give credence to statements coming from anyone other than her lawyer”, insists in a press release Me Airoldi, of the Strasbourg bar.
“She wishes to no longer be contacted by the press and will no longer speak in interviews, either for television or for newspapers,” continues the council. “Respect for family intimacy and private life is requested given the pain caused by Lina’s disappearance.”
“The necessary and verified information will be transmitted throughout the file by Me Airoldi,” concludes the lawyer.

“Long-term” investigations
A teenager with no history attending CAP “personal assistance”, Lina disappeared on Saturday September 23, late in the morning. She was walking to the Saint-Blaise-la-Roche station, three kilometers from her home, a journey she was used to making, to take the train and join her boyfriend in Strasbourg
Two witnesses say they saw her walking along the departmental road around 11:15 a.m. in this forest area at the foot of the Vosges massif. Her cell phone stopped working at 11:22 a.m. and she hasn’t given any sign of life since.
Despite intense searches, citizen searches, surveys of bodies of water, checks of cars and combing a house, the investigating gendarmes from the Strasbourg research section and the Bas-Rhin gendarmerie group do not seem to not have any serious leads.
The Strasbourg public prosecutor’s office, where the case is being investigated, opened a judicial investigation “against X” on Sunday for “kidnapping and sequestration not followed by a voluntary release of more than seven days”.
The public prosecutor, Yolande Renzi, announced on Monday that she expected “long-term” investigations, adding that “no avenue” was at this stage “discarded or favored”.
