the director of the Charlieu hospital is indicted for embezzlement of public funds

At the end of 48 hours of police custody, the director of the hospital of Charlieu, in the Loire, and of the EHPAD of Saint-Nizier-sous-Charlieu has just been indicted, this Thursday, for “embezzlement of public funds” and “aggravated money laundering concealment“. Gaëlle Jackson is released with judicial review, and prohibited from exercising a management function of a health establishment or of a medico-social structure.

Gaëlle Jackson is suspected for embezzling 250 thousand euros of public funds in nearly five years, via contracts of convenience awarded to a relative and back-payments. She was arrested Tuesday as part of the investigation opened in February by the gendarmerie after a report from the Regional Health Agency to the prosecution.
