The direction of the congested peak of Bogor, “Contraflow” applies to the Jagorawi Toll Road

BOGOR DISTRICT, KOMPAS.com – Jasa Marga Metropolitan Tollroad (JMT) applies: contraflow in the segment Jagorawi Toll Road Ciawi direction, Bogor Regency, West Java, Tuesday (3/5/2022).

The policy was taken following the density of vehicles, precisely in exit GT Ciawi or Km 45 from Jakarta to Puncak Bogor.

General Manager Representative Office 1 Regional Jasa Marga Metropolitan Tollroad Tri Wahyu Subekti said, contraflow starting May 3, 2022 at 06.57 WIB at Km 44+500 to Km 46+500, specifically for vehicles that will go to Simpang Ciawi or Sukabumi.

“At the discretion of the police, contraflow implemented on the Jagorawi Toll Road in the direction of Ciawi as a measure to anticipate traffic congestion leading to the peak that occurred today,” Tri said in a written statement, Tuesday.

To ensure the safety and comfort of road users, JMT has installed signs and placed traffic control officers at the location contraflow.

JMT appealed to the public to prepare before traveling by ensuring the condition of the vehicle is ready to go, the driver’s condition is excellent, and paying attention to the adequacy of fuel and electronic money for a comfortable trip.
