The digitization of transport systems is responsible for the high mobility of citizens

Jakarta (ANTARA) – Indonesia’s PT JakLingko said that the transport digitization integration system is the best way to answer the problem of high mobility of citizens, especially in Jakarta, so that they remain productive.

PT JakLingko Indonesia director Ivan R. Tigana said in his statement in Jakarta, Monday, that one of the challenges facing Jakarta as a global city is how the government can answer the problem of high community mobility.

For this reason, JakLingko continues to strive to answer these challenges by presenting a transport digitalization integration system.

According to Ivan, this mobility challenge can be answered by improving transport services, especially public transport.

In addition to accommodating the high mobility of Jakarta residents, JakLingko also continues to ensure accessibility to encourage people to move from

private vehicles to public transport.

JakLingko integrates ticketing and payment systems from public transport modes in Jakarta such as Mikrotrans, TransJakarta, MRT, LRT, KAI as well as private ones such as online transport modes and others.

Before that, Ivan mentioned the launch of the third level of digitization of transportation modes, which is “account-based ticking” to understand users’ travel habits without having to plan trips in advance on the JakLingko application.

This level is a continuation of the previous two levels, which is the “central clearing house system” (CCHS), which is all transport connected to one JakLingko application platform as well as transport cards in ticket payment management integrated.

As a result, four modes of transportation in Jakarta and its surroundings such as MRT Jakarta, LRT Jakarta, TransJakarta and KRL can be ordered in one application, both single mode and multi-mode trips.
