A picture says more than a thousand words, but a picture that encompasses a 360-degree panoramic view, in which the viewer can move freely, but also discover and experience points of interest or surroundings in depth, goes far beyond that. The areas of application seem to be just as limitless as the forthcoming next developments in this area with virtual reality and augmented reality.
For more than five years now, Gerald Stöllnberger and his ten-strong team at 360 Perspektive GmbH have been dedicated to the realization of services tailored to customer requirements in this innovative business area. Stöllnberger has more than 20 years of experience in digital business, he says: “This 360-degree content fascinated me from the start. They always create real wow experiences for our customers. I am convinced that interactive moving images and the symbiosis of digital and real worlds are a medium of the future.” When asked what makes this digital representation so attractive to customers, he says: “On the one hand, it is the combination of photorealistic and computer generated representations with interaction options and, on the other hand, the opportunity to play this out on a wide variety of channels.” Since the company was founded in 2017, the team around company boss Stöllnberger has already implemented over 360 different projects and tours. Initially, most inquiries came from the tourism sector, but in recent months more and more industrial companies have shown interest in using these presentation solutions. They want more and more “to inspire visually with innovative content and make their offers live,” says Stöllnberger. Today, these companies are no longer simply concerned with presenting their products and production processes effectively for their customers, but increasingly with the employer experience: it is important to make the work environment attractive to the (often highly courted) new employees.
