It was in the final stages of the summit between Elfsborg and Djurgården that Simon Strand put Joel Asoro on the pitch. Asoro flew into a billboard and was then led by the plane.
After the match, the left-back’s actions were sawed by Djurgården’s coach Kim Bergstrand.
– It did not look good at all. It’s damn ugly done by Strand as usual. There’s no reason to push him into the billboard there. It is bad respect, says Bergstrand to Discovery +.
At the press conference after the match, Thomas Lagerlöf also spoke about the situation.
– I did not really see what happened. He (Joel Asoro) is not feeling very well right now, but I do not know how serious it is, he says.
Elfsborg won the match against Djurgården with 3-0 and now goes up to a fourth place in the table, two points behind league leader Malmö FF.
