Today, popular actors cannot take a step without getting caught in the eyes of fans or paparazzi. Filming locations often have to be specially protected from onlookers, and sometimes even kept secret, in order to protect the plot of the film from being leaked to the Internet.
In the Soviet Union, filming was treated much more simply. Often, an ordinary street became the setting for the film, and not only the extras, but also ordinary passers-by were included in the frame. This sometimes led to amusing blunders.
In the film “The Diamond Arm” there is a scene in which the characters of Yuri Nikulin and Nina Grebeshkova walk along the embankment with their children.
In the frame behind the actor, people with cameras flash a couple of times, filming the couple.
Obviously, these are not undercover agents or insidious smugglers, but ordinary onlookers. They film famous actors who accidentally find themselves in the thick of things.
