As it has been doing with all the departments of the province, on this occasion the school government and the municipality of the south agreed to build a center for early childhood, among other actions.
The Minister of Education, Culture, Children and DGE, Tadeo García Zalazar, signed this Friday at the Government House an agreement with the Municipality of Malargüe, for the shared educational financing funds, which will be used within the Mendoza school system.
Both the government and the southern municipality have committed to investing the funds by allocating the resources to educational actions that protect vulnerable early childhood, to reduce the socio-educational gap, to school infrastructure and to link education with the world of work. In addition, they agreed to begin the construction of a center for a nursery school and an educational support center.
“We continue to move forward and work with the municipalities to have a concrete program of what investments will be made in education in each municipality, within the framework of the national financing law,” said Tadeo García Zalazar.
“We work together on actions that are prioritized by the municipalities to strengthen and improve the educational system,” the minister stressed.
For his part, the mayor of Malargüe, Celso Jaque, said that in his department they agreed that the priority should be early childhood. “In this sense, we want to begin to resolve the problems faced by our kindergartens and educational support centers, which perform functions in places that are sometimes not appropriate,” said the departmental leader.
