Third appointment with “The devil’s watches”, the TV series starring Giuseppe Fiorello, Claudia Pandolfi and Nicole Grimaudo, broadcast on Rai1 on Monday 16 November at 21.25. A story of great emotional impact taken from a real story and freely inspired by the book of the same name written by Gianfranco Franciosi and Federico Ruffo.
In the first of the two episodes, during Christmas, Aurelio visits Marco, bringing him an expensive watch as a gift. The mechanic drives him away badly, but Aurelio warns him: he will not be able to get rid of him. The Italian police pushed him to continue the mission but Marco, who now can only count on his daughter, refuses. He then works to get the construction site back up together with his workers and meets Messiah, an old acquaintance with whom something seems to be born, but in that juncture he discovers that his father, suffering from terminal cancer, receives the pressure of a Camorra ally of Aurelio. So he decides to free himself from the boss’s grip, at any cost.
In the second episode, Marco, who has been captured, manages to tell Aurelio who grants him his forgiveness and takes him to meet his wife and son who live hidden in a small island off the coast of Spain. Aurelio asks him to accompany him on a new load. The last, which will allow both of them to withdraw. Marco accepts. While love explodes with Messiah, the mechanic prepares a boat capable of facing the ocean because, this time, the drug exchange will take place on the open sea. While his father is getting worse, Marco is forced to leave not before having confessed the truth to Jacopo, his brother, and Messiah, but not to his daughter who watches him go away with a broken heart.
