The development team of any game sooner or later faces an overly toxic part of the gaming community. The creators of the promising shooter Atomic Heart, the studio Mundfish, was no exception and came under an angry wave of comments almost before the release of the game. Despite this, the team is focused on releasing an “innovative” game.
According to representatives of the Mundfish studio on social networks, the team quite often receives messages from haters of various kinds. Some players simply criticize the game or the multinational development team, while others stoop to real threats and spam attacks. Mundfish stated that they are not strongly opposed to offensive, hateful, discriminatory and other comments in their direction.
All Mundfish employees are now focused on the successful release of Atomic Heart to satisfy the desires of the players. Developers will not be distracted by political or religious discussions around the game.
Atomic Heart is scheduled to release on February 21, 2023 for PC, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One and Xbox Series X|S.
