GSC Game World reported it STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl it has not been rescheduled to a later date. The rumors about it began to circulate last week, when screenshots appeared on the net with the reimbursement of pre-orders of the game from the Microsoft Store.
Microsoft is refunding game pre-orders that don’t have an exact release date. Later, when we announce the exact date, Xbox pre-orders will be on sale again. This does not affect pre-orders on PC (Steam, EGS, GOG).
Now release STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl expected for the first half of 2023. The game has a difficult fate: for a long time GSC Game World could not start its development, the studio even closed, but then it came back again and received funds for a sequel.
In early 2022, CBO started in Ukraine, then GSC Game World blocked the game and, after moving to Prague, continued development.
STALKER 2: Heart of Chornobyl will be released on PC and Xbox consoles.
