The developer of PUBG would be developing a futuristic open world game

There is no doubt that PUBG is one of the most played Battle Royale shooter since its inception, that is why it is always updating with new content. The creation of the sequel to this famous title was recently rumored, but it seems that something else is cooking in the oven of its creators.

According @PlayerIGN (nothing to do with IGN), they have found privileged information where they are looking for new workers for a project called “Vertical”. This game, which seems to have nothing to do with PUBG by name, would be an open-world sci-fi shooter designed with the Unreal Engine 4. Here is all the information presented by @PlayerIGN :

It’s built on UE4, a pre-built engine, as such I can imagine them looking to release this game after 2-3 years.

PUBG will keep getting content for years

As we well know PUBG is like the goose that lays the golden eggs, but the creation of this new project can help PUBG Corporation expand into more genres other than Battle Royale and grow as a company. All this information has to be caught with tweezers, since we do not have much data about it. We will remain attentive to all the information about this new project.

PUBG is an online multiplayer shooter in Battle Royale mode that is available on Xbox One, Xbox Series and PC.
