The national government Officialized the extension from July 1 to 17 of compulsory social isolation announced last Friday by President Alberto Fernández, as well as the continuity of social distancing and 37 essential activities and services that will be excepted of the hardening of the coronavirus quarantine.
Isolation measures will govern in the Buenos Aires Metropolitan Area (AMBA), the province of Chaco, The Department of General Roca de Río Negro and the city of Neuquen, which are the districts most affected by the sharp increase in the spread of the pandemic.
The provisions establishing restrictions on movement to stop the advance of covid-19 were made official in separate decrees published today in the Official Gazette. The one with the number 576/2020 indicates the prohibition of teaching face-to-face classes at all educational levelsas well as social, cultural, recreational, sporting, religious and any involving crowds.
Set the store closings that are not linked to essential and supply services, prohibits inter-jurisdictional transport and limits its use to the personnel of essential activities.
At the same time, the 37 essential activities and services that will be exempt from complying with the mandatory isolation. Those who perform essential tasks are the only ones authorized to use public transport, for which they must generate the new circulation permit. Workers in excepted activities must be guaranteed the transfer of the companies in which they carry out their activity.
What are the essential and excepted activities
* Health personnel, security forces, migratory activity, meteorological service, firefighters and air traffic control.
* State authorities, on duty justice services, diplomatic personnel, international organizations, the Red Cross and White Helmets.
* Those who attend People with disabilities, who need assistance, older adults, boys, girls or adolescents.
* People with reasons of force majeure and those affected by funeral services (meetings are not authorized).
* Those who attend dining roomswork on Public Works and in services or media.
* Supermarkets and shops of proximity of food, hygiene, cleaning, pharmacies, hardware stores, veterinarians, provision of carafes.
* Food industries, medical equipment, medicines, vaccines and other sanitary supplies.
* Production, distribution and agricultural marketing.
* Telecommunications activities, internet and digital services.
* Impossible activities of foreign trade and residue recolection.
* Maintenance of basic services and emergencies.
* Public transport passenger and distribution of fuels.
* Delivery food and supplies, laundry, postcards, surveillance, personnel from oil and gas fields, distribution of electricity and fuels, and operation of nuclear power plants.
* Mint, services of ATMs and flow transportation, banking staff for attention with previous shifts.
* Hotels affected to the sanitary emergency service, operation of airports, garages, restaurants and prepared food places.
* Documentation of people, circulation of people with disabilities, collection of taxes and fees.
* Care for victims of gender violence and staff of considered.
* Scheduled medical and dental care, laboratories, diagnostic imaging and optics with previous shift.
* Transfer of children, girls and adolescents of separated fathers and mothers.
* Workers to whom employers guarantee transfer and in industries with continuous processes, sale of supplies and construction materials, forestry, mining, tanneries, mattresses, fumigation, road machinery, exploration and nuclear fuel.
* Automotive repair, motorcycles and bicycles, and sale of spare parts and tire manufacturing.
* Activity in Industrial Parks.
* Production for export, demolition and excavation activity for emergencies.
* Sports practice of athletes qualified for the XXXII Olympic Games.
