The destruction of the Trypil TPP would not have happened if the West had given Patriot,

According to the minister, it is precisely in this way that the Ukrainian side will talk with foreign partners.

Minister of Foreign Affairs Dmytro Kuleba said on the sidelines of the Ukrainian-Slovak government consultations in Mykhailivtsi that Ukraine emphasizes to its partners the critical importance of supplying modern Patriot air defense systems. In particular, it was the lack of protective equipment that made it possible for the Russians to destroy the Trypilskaya TPP near Kyiv.

Correspondent Ukrinform asked him whether the minister raised the topic of the Russians’ destruction of the Trypil TPP during discussions with European colleagues.

“We’re raising this topic… There’s only one topic to raise here – give the Patriots! If we had the Patriots, we wouldn’t have lost all of this today,” he answered.

According to Kuleb, it is in this way that the Ukrainian side will talk with foreign partners – “maximum acceleration of air defense supplies”.

Destruction of the Trypil TPP

As UNIAN reported, on the morning of April 11, Russia launched a massive attack on Ukraine. As a result, the Trypil TPP – the most powerful power plant in the Kyiv region – was completely destroyed. There was a large-scale fire in the turbine shop at the facility. All employees who were on shift are alive.

“Centrenergo” reported that the destruction of the Trypil TPP led to the destruction of the entire generation of “Centrenergo”.

Andriy Hota, the head of the supervisory board of Centerenergo PJSC, said that, given the constant attacks by the Russian occupiers, without providing Ukraine with air defense systems, the restoration of the destroyed Trypilskaya TPP is a “futile matter.”
