The derby is postponed for the time being, Sparta will go to Liberec in the quarter-finals, Slavia will welcome Vyškov

The last quarter-finalist will emerge from the match between České Budějovice and Hradec Králové, which was postponed in the autumn and will be played on February 1 from 15:00 in České Budějovice.

The blockbuster of the quarterfinals will be the fight between Liberec and Sparta. Slovan surprisingly won in the opening autumn round of the Fortuna League at Letná.

“We are especially happy that we are in this stage of the competition and it didn’t happen again like last year. In the quarter-finals you can no longer choose and if you want to win the cup, you have to beat everyone,” says the director of the North Bohemian club, Pavel Marek.

“We wanted to play at home after a long time, but as it was said, if you want the cup, you have to beat everyone. We will of course approach the match as responsibly as possible and we will want to win,” adds Tomáš Sivok, manager of the Leten A team.

“I will be praised that we will start at home. We will certainly not underestimate Vyškov, they have already knocked out two first league teams. Of course we also want to win the cup,” says Přemysl Kovář for Slavia.

“I’m looking forward to the Sparta match in Liberec, because I believe that a lot of people will come there and it will be a very good match. As a Bohemian fan, I’m also looking forward to their match and I believe that Bohemians will reach the semi-finals,” wishes Jan Koller, ambassador MOL Cup.

Quarter Final Draw:
Slovácko – Bohemians Prague 1905
České Budějovice/Hradec Králové – Brno
Liberec – Sparta Prague
Slavia Prague – Vyškov
