The deputy regional governor Pavlin Ivanov died suddenly. On this occasion, the regional governor Maria Neikova sent a letter of condolence:

Allow me at this difficult moment, on behalf of the Burgas Regional Administration and personally on my own behalf, to express my deep respect and offer our most sincere condolences on the death of Pavlin Ivanov – Deputy Regional Governor of the Burgas Region.
Today is a sad day for all of us. A man with proven moral virtues, bright human qualities, who deserved the respect of his relatives, friends, colleagues and fellow citizens has left us. He leaves behind a bright example of a worthy life path and dedication to family and society.
Pavlin Ivanov was not just our colleague, but an exceptional person and professional. Performing the functions of deputy regional governor, with his cordiality he entered the hearts of each of us and will remain there forever. His responsibility and alert spirit towards work became a standard for behavior, emulation and success.
In the minds of every one of the team of the Burgas Regional Administration, he will forever remain a good manager and friend with whom we had the pleasure of working and knowing.
We will remember him as a good person and public figure, leaving behind a bright mark that will not be forgotten, and his work will remain forever.
