Party Vice President NasDem Ahmad Ali has opened his voice on the existence of parties that have encouraged him to do so government reshuffle. He mentioned the person who also asked NasDem to leave the coalition.
Ahmad Ali initially spoke about the statement by NasDem general president Surya Paloh about the existence of parties that have asked NasDem to leave. He said these allegations emerged when NasDem decided to bring Anies Baswedan as a presidential candidate in the 2024 presidential election.
“Ketum’s statement has not been separated since NasDem announced Anies as a presidential candidate. It started with the removal of the Netherlands blue flag,” Ahmad Ali said when contacted on Thursday (20/10/2022) .

Ahmad Ali then said that the narrative then developed into rumors that there was a ruling party that wanted to leave the coalition. In the end, he said, there was an open proposal from the Secretary General of the PDIP Hasto Kristiyanto.
“Then there are government parties that want to leave the coalition, then it gets more and more crowded and starts saying Mas Hasto openly and then asking the NasDem to leave the coalition, right?” Ahmad Ali said.
Ahmad Ali said Hasto Kristiyanto pushed for a government reshuffle not on behalf of the PDIP. He said that Surya Paloh also did not name a party figure, but a certain person who openly expressed a government reshuffle.
“If the Ketum then communicates that we are not a party, but a person, this cannot be said, because it has been said openly,” he said.
Furthermore, the member of Commission III of the DPR said that the decision to reshuffle the government is in the hands of Jokowi. He stressed that Jokowi cannot be pushed in any political context.
“So, whatever the president’s decision on the coalition cannot be translated into a political context, I always see the presidential decision on reshuffle and others as an organizational need. So when there is a reshuffle, it’s just Pak Jokowi. don’t like party and then scramble it, but rather the effectiveness of the government that is effective counts, “he said.
