During the plenary held at the Palais Léon Mba, in the presence of the Minister of Justice, Keeper of the Seals, in charge of Human Rights and Gender Equality, Erlyne Antonela NDEMBET DAMAS, the session rapporteur insisted on the arguments presented by the Member of the Government during the presentation of his explanatory memorandum.

Thus, the remuneration is made up of the basic salary, the amount of which results from the product of the index of each Magistrate by the value of the index point, in accordance with the texts in force and the salary accessories.

To this remuneration should be added: the courtroom suit, the court case, on-call accommodation or housing allowance, the official or service vehicle for the heads of jurisdiction, the granting of diplomatic passports and service, authorization to carry a handgun, full free treatment in state health establishments, including for those entitled to it, payment for medical evacuations, payment by the State of the funeral expenses of the magistrate in activity and his beneficiaries.

At the end of the examination, the plenary unanimously adopted report n°048/2023 presented by the Commission for Laws, Administrative Affairs and Human Rights of the National Assembly.
