The Egyptian actor Mostafa Fahmy, known as “the handsome man on the Egyptian screen,” died at the age of 82 after his health worsened, turning the page of a life full of achievements and challenges.

A noble family

Fahmi was born in 1942. He is Hussein’s younger brother, and they are of Circassian origin. He is the grandson of Muhammad Pasha Fahmi, who was the head of the Shura Council Pasha Fahmi, was the secretary of the Shura Council, and his grandmother was Amina Hanem Al-Manstarli.

He began his artistic career as a photographer after graduating from the Institute of Cinema, Department of Photography At the beginning of his career, he worked as a camera assistant in the film “The Princess of My Love” in 1974, in was his brother Hussein a star. along with actress Souad Hosni.

In the same year, he participated in the film “Where is My Mind?” In front of Souad Hosni, he drew attention to himself, and two years later he starred in 4 films: “Where Do We Begin the Story,” “For Whom the Sun Shines,” “Face to Face,” and “Moon of Time”.

150 cinematic and dramatic works
During his artistic career, which began in the 1970s, Fahmy presented almost 150 cinematic and dramatic works.

Among the most prominent characters he appeared on screen was the Israeli character Izaak Haim in the series “Tears in Shameless Eyes”.

He recently played the character of the intelligence chief in the film “The Squadron”, in which Ahmed El Sakka and Diab directed by Ahmed Nader Galal He also participated in the film “People of the Cave”, in did he design the character of the Emperor Decius.
