The Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications is being strengthened…

The Model Center for Immersive Virtual, Augmented and Mixed Reality Region of Epirus (KEEPI) organizes Conferencein which the actions and the modern space created at the Department of Informatics and Telecommunications of the University of Ioannina in Arta will be presented.

This is an action research project “Strengthening Research and Innovation Infrastructures” and his Business Program “Competitiveness, Entrepreneurship and Innovation”in its context NSRF 2014-2020with the co-financing of Greece and the European Union (European Regional Development Fund).

His goal HAPPY is the promotion of research, learning and teaching, as well as the democratization and exploitation of technologies in interdisciplinary and cultural fields. In this versatile multipurpose space, a complete laboratory facility was created, which is accompanied by a set of support services and know-how. Here, research meets practice, learning becomes a creative process, and technologies serve culture and society.

At the workshop, you will have the opportunity to explore its space HAPPYto chat with the researchers and educators working in the center, and to exchange ideas and opinions on the future of education and research in the field of immersive virtual, augmented and mixed reality.

The conference will take place on Tuesday, October 31, 2023 in Event hall of the Arta Branch Library (Campus – Kostakioi, Arta, 1st floor). Start time: 11:00 am.
