The Democratic Republic of the Congo supports Riyadh’s hosting of “Expo 2030”
The President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, Felix Tshisekedi, affirmed his country’s full support for Saudi Arabia’s request to host the “Expo 2030” exhibition in Riyadh.
He also expressed his country’s welcome to hold the two summits, “the first Saudi-African summit and the fifth Arab-African summit” in Saudi Arabia this year in Riyadh.
This came when he received an oral message from the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, related to bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to enhance joint cooperation.

The message was conveyed by Ahmed bin Abdulaziz Qattan, Advisor at the Royal Court, during a reception by the President of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, today, in Kinshasa, the capital.
The advisor at the Saudi Royal Court expressed the appreciation and thanks of the Saudi government for this confirmation, which comes as a translation of the distinguished relations between the two countries.
During the reception, Ahmed Qattan conveyed the greetings of the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz, and Prince Muhammad bin Salman bin Abdulaziz, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, to President Felix Tshisekedi and to the government and people of the Democratic Republic of the Congo, while Tshisekedi conveyed his greetings and appreciation to the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques, the Crown Prince, and the government and people of the Kingdom.
During the reception, they discussed bilateral relations between the two countries, and ways to support and develop them in various fields, in addition to reviewing all regional and international events of common interest.
