The Steam digital store started the second year of the Steam Game Festival event, in which independent developers offer a lot of space to draw attention to their upcoming news. You can find a lot of interesting titles there, and at the same time lose a lot of time in a way that reminds you of digging through shareware.

System Shock: After many years of development, the remake of the cult cosmic RPG was finally released, and so they gave the car a new sample. Xenonauts 2: How fondly do you remember the original XCOM, and do you find its modern parts too simplistic? Then Xenonauts 2 is just right for you. In the first part, he offered a lot of options for how to deal with the alien invasion, the second part should be more complex. The game was created thanks to the support of a Kickstarter fan and its development lasted about 5 years.
Sons of Valhalla: Viking action strategy in which, in addition to building a settlement, you also fight with insects, you will be captivated at first sight by the beautiful pixel art graphics. You will command a group of soldiers, conquer foreign lands and take care of enough raw materials, in addition, there is also a pbhov djov line. At least on the graphic side, beauty.
Tape to Tape: The last NHL series from EA Sports came out on PC in 2008, and since then fans have had a chance. As it can be seen at first glance from the isolated graphics processing, Tape to Tape is probably not an adequate replacement, but it could still be a lot of fun. The cars have implemented mechanics from the so-called roguelike genre (see the link), which otherwise leads to disconnecting the arcade from the necessary depth. You will have to take care of your team over the course of several seasons and ideally gradually fill it with the best quality players. In addition to their stats, equipment needs to be taken into account.
