And it is done, Cortana is dead. The former smart assistant according to Microsoft, which first appeared on the scene in Windows 10, ends up ending before we could even try it in Czech.
But it’s no surprise, because Microsoft announced the ignominious shutdown of the service a few months ago, and Cortana has effectively been dying for several years. It will warm up for a while and in a slightly different form in mobile Outlook.
Cortana in Windows has finally ended
On the latest builds of Windows 11, the definitive ortel is already displayed after starting the application: Cortana in Windows as a standalone app is deprecated. And regardless of the language version, i.e. including English.
Instead of Cortana, Windows Copilot is also in Czech
The end of Cortana is completely logical, because in recent months it has been gradually replaced first by the new Bing armed with generative artificial intelligence and finally by Windows Copilot integrated directly into Windows.
