The demand for bread wheat increased to BGN 545/t, deals were concluded – Agro Plovdiv – 2024-11-03 12:26:00


On Euronext, the price of rape continued to rise to EUR 522.25/ton

The Sofia Stock Exchange AD (SSB) trade in the “Grain” subdistrict during the sessions during the past week. The search for bread wheat from this year’s crop rose to BGN 545.00/ton, supply also fell to that price and over fifty thousand tons were traded at BGN 545.00/ton. The demand ads for feed wheat by specification gravitate around BGN 340.00/ton, and those for bulk feed wheat move between BGN 385.00 and 510.00/ton, respectively for “buy” and “sell”.

The movement of grain prices on the world stock markets has calmed down to a large extent, the SSB reports in its overview. FOB Chicago bread wheat fell another $2.00 to $258.00/t for November delivery, France also shed another €2.00 to €223.00/t. Ukraine and Russia were flat at $240.00/t and $245.00/t.

Corn price movement was minus $4.00 in the US to $210.00/t, in France minus €4.00 to €208.00/t, while in Ukraine the trend reversed again with an increase of 3 $.00 to $221.00/ton.

Barley in Ukraine also rose $5.00 to $208.00/t for November delivery, while Euronext canola for November delivery shot up another $13.75 for a third straight week EUR to EUR 522.25/ton.

Crude sunflower oil contracts on the Rotterdam Stock Exchange for November delivery continued to rise, climbing $70.00 this week to $1,265.00/t. Refined sugar also continued its long-term sine curve, and these days for December delivery moved up $7.10 again to $576.50/t on the London Stock Exchange.
