The provincial government, through the Ministry of Culture, continues to bring mini-libraries of the “Books and Houses” program closer and accompanying the delivery of homes together with authorities of the IPAV (Provincial Autarchic Housing Institute).
In this way, this program of the Ministry of Culture of the Nation, articulated between the Secretary of Culture of the Government of La Pampa and the IPAV, continues to spread throughout La Pampa.
On this occasion, with the presence of IPAV authorities and the local municipality, four houses were delivered in Miguel Cané. The act was headed by the Secretary of Municipal Affairs Rogelio Schanton, the Secretary of Culture, Adriana Maggio; the president of the IPAV, Jorge Lezcano and Erica Riboyra, manager of Planning and Adjudication of the same Institute, the mayor of Miguel Cané Bibiana Llacone and the deputy Rodolfo Calvo.
Adriana Maggio stressed that “being able to realize the dream of accessing one’s own home, added to the delivery of this bibliographic material, constitutes the enhancement of one of the most important State policies carried out by the provincial government.
“At the same time, it is the policy of the Ministry of Culture to promote reading, especially that intended for children and young people; promote cooperative and independent editions; disseminate books that sometimes do not have as much circulation and that is why they have their place in our Provincial Book Fair that we organize in different locations; and also its promotion with the creation of our editorial “La Pampa edita”.
“This recovered program “Libros y Casas” also allows us to contribute, in this case with a mini family library that reaches the people awarded. The material that we deliver contains copies of Argentine literature, to which the Ministry of Culture adds a diversity of genres by authors from the Pampas”, concluded the provincial official.
This delivery made in Miguel Cané is added to those already made in Loventué, neighborhoods of Santa Rosa, Relmo, Miguel Riglos, Uriburu, Puelén, General Campos, Eduardo Castex and Maisonnave.
