The film with Emma Roberts (29) and Luke Bracey (31) in the lead roles tells a story that is recognizable for many singles. Because Sloane and Jackson don’t have a partner, they always end up at the ‘children’s table’ or with an uncomfortable date during the holidays. When the two meet during one of these fiasco’s, they decide it should be over. They make a pact to be each other’s ‘holidate’ and to accompany each other during all festive occasions in the coming period.
