After the judicial presentation made by Jorge Lanata’s daughters, Bárbara and Lola, against Elba Marcovecchio became publicly known, accusing her of “stealing items of great value” and cash from her father’s house, the wife of journalist faced the complaint.
It was through one of his lawyers, Guadalupe Guerrero, who spoke with Intruders (America TV). The lawyer assured that her client “she is destroyed and distraught” after becoming aware of the judicial presentation against him.
“First She is very worried about Jorge Lanata and then for her children, because what they are saying about her is very offensive.”assured the lawyer about the present of Elba, who is the mother of Valentino and Allegra, the result of her first marriage with Alejandro Mazzeo, who died in 2013.
“She should be taking care of her husband and she has to be worried about an unnecessary judicial dispute,” he said, referring to the driver of Wool Without Filter (Radio Miter AM 790), who is admitted to the Santa Catalina clinic, specialized in neurorehabilitation.
“It is a very serious and very aggravating complaint. The things detailed are not true. It is difficult to face so much damage and so many lies”added Guerrero, who dismissed the videos that Lanata’s daughters presented along with the complaint: “Those images don’t cost me anything. “That video is not indicative of anything and could even be edited.” In the images, Elba is seen taking different objects from her husband’s desk.

And he clarified: “Elba is his legitimate wife and has power, in addition to directives that Mr. Lanata expressed to her”.
“I understand that specifically presentation has to do with determining capacity. What is being studied is the medical issue, to reach a ruling on whether Mr. Lanata is capable or not,” analyzed the lawyer, who implied that the objective of the journalist’s daughters, with this judicial presentation, is to take away his power that Elba currently has.

“Surely we can present personnel who helped Mr. Lanata, but the doctors, who can attest to the love, respect, affection and dedication that Elba shows to her husband and that it remained during these 104 days,” said Guerrero, who also He clarified that Elba did live with Lanata, contradicting the journalist’s daughters. “They have two homes and Elba alternately slept with her husband,” she said.

The complaint, which is 67 pages long, was presented to Family Justice. Lanata’s daughters claim that Marcovecchio’s behavior affected their father’s health and assets. They accuse her of “steal items of great value” and cash, between “35 and 50 thousand dollars.”
The allusion is to the 42 objects including sculptures, watches, pens, jewelry, cufflinks and certificates of authenticity of works of art.
