The defense committee of the Concarneau hospital (Finistère) announced, Sunday October 6, 2024, its support for the rally organized in front of the Carhaix hospital, Saturday October 12, at 11:30 a.m., in order to demand “the reopening of emergencies”.

“Faced with the significant mobilization of residents […]the response was in the form of summons to appear under police custody: unacceptable! Repression cannot be the solution to poor access to care,” believes the Concarnois committee.
The budget soon to be debated
The latter also recalls that the draft budget for Social Security (PLFSS) will soon be debated in the National Assembly, in a context of “drastic reduction of public budgets” : “We must demand a health budget commensurate with needs so that […] closures and degraded working conditions”, continues the committee.
