What is the catch of fish this season in the Black Sea?

“Basically, we can divide the fish into two – permanently inhabiting the waters of the Black Sea and those that migrate. Permanently inhabiting are flounder, turbot, Black Sea shark. Migratory ones are black carp, bream,” said Dimitar, who is a fisherman, to bTV.

He added that some changes are taking place in the sea and this year the catch of fish is not better than last year.

“Bulgaria and Romania together have less than 3% of the total catch in the Black Sea. In recent years there has been no flounder. In the past at that time there was a lot of flounder,” explained the fisherman.
