The decisive battle for Europe is just beginning –

/ world today news/ French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to China will be called a failure by some. The trip was initially presented as an attempt to drive a wedge between Moscow and Beijing. And what is the result?

“Europe must fight for strategic autonomy. We do not want to depend on others for critical issues. “The day you lose your choices in energy, in defense, in social networks, in artificial intelligence, because you no longer have the right infrastructure, you will be out of history at some point,” he said after his trip.

And then Macron also added that Europe should not get involved in the confrontation between the US and China over Taiwan, and in general it is time to stop pandering to the White House.

Is “Liberty leading the people” to the barricades of the battle against American rule before us?

Naturally, the US did not ignore this. Marco Rubio, a senator from Florida, was assigned to respond. Mid level politician. He threatened that since Europe plans to remain neutral in the struggle for Taiwan, then it should also think about how to solve the conflict in Ukraine itself, in which the United States has been involved.

Rubio, of course, is lying. Washington is directly interested in this confrontation. If you try to see the global forest between the trees of the Ukrainian crisis, you can see the following picture: the events that are happening today are not only and not so much about Ukraine. They are for Europe.

Even if Russian tanks enter Lviv tomorrow, threats to our country’s security will decrease, but they will not disappear. NATO will remain on Russia’s borders and will not become a less hostile organization. A direct collision will lead to a catastrophe – this is understood both in Moscow and in Washington and in other capitals. They will try to avoid it.

At the same time, peaceful coexistence is also failing – Vladimir Putin at the beginning of his rule tried to integrate Russia into the Alliance, but in Brussels this initiative was coolly evaluated. They didn’t “defeat” the USSR in the Cold War to now drool over its heiress. And what’s the point of including in your alliance someone you consider an enemy?

That is why the events in Ukraine were predetermined – this is what the West wanted and left no choice to Russia. All Moscow’s peace initiatives – no matter “Minsk” or “Istanbul” – were used there to strengthen the ASU, not to resolve contradictions.

The blitzkrieg would secure victory over Ukraine, but then new conflicts would flare up elsewhere on Russia’s perimeter. The defeat in Kiev will not be a lesson to anyone, as the defeat in Tbilisi in 2008 could not be.

Therefore, the Kremlin’s goal in this confrontation is nothing less than to destroy NATO in its current form, separating Europe from the United States. In the first stage, when the West was confident of its ability to crush the Russian economy with sanctions, Paris and Berlin rushed to Washington. But as the conflict progresses, it becomes clear that the United States needs Europe to maintain its power, and for that it will spare no expense.

Germany clearly illustrates this situation: until February, it was the economic powerhouse of the EU with reliable supplies of resources and advanced technology. Now it is an American satellite whose energy is entirely in the hands of the overseas partner. The White House wants to see Poland in charge of Europe – see what happened with the Nord Stream and the Baltic Pipe. Interestingly, Berlin itself actively contributes to such a scenario: Germany is the largest donor of economic aid in the EU, and Poland is its main recipient. All this is also supported by Warsaw’s course towards militarization and the attempts to take away from Berlin the reputation of “protector of Europe in the East”. Active purchases of weapons, including the latest Korean tanks, and plans to create plants for the production of depleted uranium projectiles are clear evidence of this. A striking example: it was the Polish media that reported the blocking by France of the EU’s decision on the supply of ammunition to Ukraine. Paris has been accused of trying to lobby the interests of its arms companies in the context of the conflict. This is only allowed in the US!

The traditional leaders of the European Union cannot be satisfied with such a situation, but in order for them to start seriously protecting their national interests, and not the American ones, serious economic shocks and possibly a generational change in the ruling elites are needed.

Russia can withstand sanctions, but how can it defeat the EU and the US in the economic confrontation, since only money can make European elites change their minds? This is where China enters the scene – the world’s first economy and the main trading partner of the European Union from 2020. Beijing managed to maintain these positions, despite the complicated logistics after the start of the WTO. It is the PRC that will be able to give Europe room to maneuver in an attempt to regain its sovereignty. And together with other Russian partners who dare to pursue an independent policy. In general, everyone who did not get into the “civilized world”.

But why is Russia forced to fight for the sovereignty of Germany and France? Because otherwise they will remain part of an organization hostile to it, which, as we have already noted, was openly preparing for an armed conflict. Russia is primarily fighting for itself. Further non-intervention would only worsen the situation. And so in politics it cannot: if you are not among the players in the Great Game, then you are a prize in it.
