The decision of Kate Middleton’s parents touches Ukraine

Kate Middleton’s parents plan to turn their country house in Berkshire into a place for Ukrainian refugees to live. Michael and Carole Middleton bought the property about 10 years ago for 4.7 million pounds ($5.6 million), Ukrainian portal “fakty.ua” reports.

The Middletons fell in love with this idea when they learned that several well-known house owners had already accommodated Ukrainian families. This was done by the popular British TV presenter Chris Tarrant and Lord Benyon, a Member of Parliament from the Conservative Party.

Before making a decision, Carol discussed practical issues with them several times. According to the Daily Mail, for now she wants to give refugees one bedroom and a living room. In addition, she would like Ukrainians who live nearby to gather in her house.
