As in a dispirited episode of the series Twilight Zone – The Fifth Dimension, the first debate between the two main candidates for the presidency of the USA, Donald Trump and Joe Biden, seems to have been transmitted in a single signal to two parallel universes. In one, where the Republican Party candidate is king and lord, the audience was thrilled by his constant interruptions and provocations; on the other, where the Democratic Party candidate is the last sanity barrier between Trump and the White House, there were sighs of relief that the announced massacre had not happened.
