Every tenth couple in Germany remains unintentionally childless – and artificial insemination is only successful in every fifth case. The last option for a biological child? A surrogate mother! Surrogacy is permitted in countries such as Ukraine, India and the USA. It has so far been banned in our country, but a commission is currently discussing whether altruistic, i.e. voluntary and free, surrogacy should be legalized. We think: great idea! Because if we stand up for the right to reproduce, then ultimately that would also have to mean being able to help others with full physical effort… Or?
