The death toll reaches 1,486 souls

ISLAMABAD, KOMPAS.com – Flood Pakistan which drowned most of the country killed nearly 1,500 people.

On Thursday (15/9/2022) the National Disaster Management Authority reported that the death toll from flood it has reached 1,486 inhabitants.

Of this total, 530 of them are children, as reported by Reuters. About 33 million people, out of Pakistan’s total population of 220 million, have been affected by the floods.

The floods in Pakistan are caused by high-intensity rains that come earlier and the melting of glaciers in the northern mountains.
