The death toll from Hurricane Milton in Florida rises to 14

The areas with the most deaths are Santa Lucía and Volusia counties, with six and four deaths, respectively. Deaths have also been recorded in Pinellas County (2), Citrus County (1) and Hillsborough (1), according to the count provided by the American television network CNN.

After the passage of ‘Milton’, more than 2.9 million people are without electricity a day after it made landfall, although the service is gradually recovering, since early in the morning there were 3.3 million people who were not They had electricity supply.

‘Milton’ is the fifth hurricane to make landfall in the United States so far this year and the third to impact Florida. ‘Helene’ became the second deadliest hurricane to hit the continental United States in the last 50 years, after Hurricane Katrina, which killed 1,833 people in 2005.
