The wife of a Wuhan virologist died of a coronavirus in December 2019. David Asher, a former employee of the Donald Trump administration, told the Daily Caller website.
Usher was among the people tasked by the previous US president to investigate the origins of COVID-19.
According to him, “if it was, we would have known earlier that the virus is transmitted from person to person, but the Chinese authorities discovered the danger of the coroanvirus a month later.”
Earlier this week, the Wall Street Journal reported that three researchers from the Chinese Institute of Virology in Wuhan had sought hospital treatment in November 2019.
