The former Syrian international player, Nader Jokhadar, died at the age of 45, after the collapse of the building in which he lived in the coastal city of Jableh, as a result of the strong earthquake that struck the country at dawn on Monday, according to what the Syrian Football Association announced.
He also defended the colors of the Syrian national team between 1995 and 1997 and participated with him in the 1996 Asian Cup, and trained the Lebanese club Salam Zgharta last year.
The administration of Al-Wathba Club mourned its former player, who carried its colors in two periods, “We mourn the loss of our club and the Syrian sport, our former international player Nader Joukhadar and his son Taj al-Din, who passed away at dawn today as a result of the earthquake that struck our country, and extends our deepest condolences from the family of the deceased.”
