The French singer Marcel Amon passed away yesterday, Wednesday, at the age of 93, according to a statement received by Agence France-Presse, issued by the family of the artist, who was famous for a number of his songs, including “Blue, Blanc, Colon” ​​(Blue, white, blonde).

The beginnings of the emergence of Amon, born on April 1, 1929 (and his original name was Marcel Miramon), go back to the fifties of the twentieth century.

And his first record in 1956 won the Grand Prix of the Charles Crowe Academy, but the peak of his career was his golden record in 1971 for “L’amour sa pas le tan” (love it passes the time). His achievements continued in the seventies, including a concert that achieved great success at the famous “Olympia” theater, and a television program in which he was accompanied by a group of dancers.

And especially the immersion in the musical theater in 1975, through a work that was well received by critics, but the audience’s turnout for it was limited.

Marcel Amon also had experience in acting, as he assumed, for example, a minor role alongside Brigitte Bardot in the movie “La Marie-ete Trouble” (The bride was too beautiful) in 1956, but his cinematic career remained limited. He also participated in a number of television films.

Amnon celebrated his ninetieth birthday on stage in Paris in 2019, during a concert in which artists including Serge Lama and Nicoletta participated.
