/ world today news/ The two-week deadline given to the ministers by acting Prime Minister Ognyan Gerdzhikov to prepare analyzes of the operational programs in their departments, as well as the overall activity in the departments, expires on Tuesday.
Gerdzhikov asked his team not only to present him with findings, but also to indicate specific proposals for overcoming possible violations discovered during the inspections.
We remind you that two weeks ago, on January 30, at an extraordinary meeting of the Council of Ministers, the Prime Minister stated: “Within a two-week period, the ministers of service should present me with your analytical reports on the situation in the ministries entrusted to you, with specific proposals for their resolution.”
“The official ceremonies are over, I won’t promise like Churchill blood, sweat and tears, but there is no doubt that we have very serious work ahead of us. The time horizon is very close. We are not like a regular cabinet that is 4 years old, ours is a 100m race, which means that the start is extremely important. Every tenth of a second can be fatal,” Gerdzhikov emphasized. “That’s why I want to call on all of you to be as organized and mobilized as possible. They trust that your work will instill stability and peace in society. Let’s protect what a number of analysts and politicians have emphasized – professionalism and expertise”, he urged the ministers.
“We promised in the previous days to expose bad practices and abuses. Therefore, I would like to ask you within a two-week period, no more, to present to me your analytical reports on the situation in the ministries entrusted to you, with concrete proposals for their solution. I want to ask you to pay special attention to public procurement – a very important and painful topic for our society”, stated Ognyan Gerdzhikov.
