The Executive has again agreed to extend the deadlines to request (August 9) and formalize (September 9) state-guaranteed loans to face the rental of the habitual residence in households that are in a situation of vulnerability due to the coronavirus pandemic.
This decision has been adopted taking into account the current evolution of the pandemic, the vulnerability that it may generate in the tenants of a habitual residence, at their “more or less” uncertain projection in the coming months and in coordination with the end of the state of alarm, as published in the Official State Gazette (BOE).
For all these reasons, the Government points out, it is advisable to once again modify the last fixed deadlines and extend them until August 9, 2021 and September 9, 2021, respectively.
Specifically, the deadline to apply for loans guaranteed and subsidized by the State has been extended until August 9, a date that may be extended until August 31 at the proposal of the Monitoring Commission provided for in the agreement between the Ministry of Transport, Mobility and Urban Agenda and the ICO.
For its part, the term to formalize said loans runs until September 9 and It may be extended until September 30.
The agreement with the ICO develops a line of guarantees, with State coverage, so that credit institutions can offer temporary financing aid to deal with the rental of habitual residence in households that are in situations of social and economic vulnerability as a consequence of the expansion of the covid- 19.
The aid consists of the endorsement and the total deduction of expenses and interests for the applicant, who must request it from the credit institution.
