Applications for the de minimis aid to offset the costs of slaughter, transport and administrative documents for reared and slaughtered cattle are submitted from 1 to 11 October 2024. The deadline for disbursement of funds is 25 October 2024.
According to the instructions for applying the aid, the following requirements must be met:
• Cattle intended for slaughter have been reared for at least the last 4 months until the date of slaughter on the farm of the enterprises applying for aid;
• The animals must be sold by the enterprise directly to an abattoir for slaughter, slaughtered in a slaughterhouse or slaughtered in the enterprise’s own slaughterhouse/slaughterhouse;
• It is necessary for the slaughtered animals to be aged from 10 months inclusive, up to the age of 24 months;
• Animals must be slaughtered between 1 June 2023 and 31 May 2024, inclusive.
The aid budget has been increased to BGN 1,400,000, and the unit rate for a slaughtered animal is up to BGN 230.
The total amount of de minimis aid granted to the same enterprise cannot exceed the BGN equivalent of 300,000 euros (BGN 586,749) for a period of three years.
The application is made in the Regional Directorates (OD) of the DF “Agriculture”, Department “Implementation of Schemes and Support Measures” (PSMP) at the permanent address of the individual (in the case of FL application) and at the seat of the sole trader, legal entity or cooperative (when applying for ET, JUL and cooperative). The application is made in person or through an authorized person, after presenting a notarized power of attorney based on a form prepared by the DFZ.
