The DDETS and its Divisions: Ensuring Social Inclusion, Employment Development, and Social Cohesion

The DDETS ensures the deployment of public policies for social inclusion, integration, employment development, access to and effectiveness of rights, access to and maintenance of housing, work and territorialisation of priority cross-cutting strategies in the areas of social cohesion, work and employment.

The management is organized into three divisions:

· a labor center: inspection of labor legislation, information on labor law, promotion of social dialogue;

· a center for integration, employment, companies: employment policies, support for companies and people in difficulty, urban policy;

· a social cohesion centre: accommodation, housing, protection of the most vulnerable people and groups

Implement at the departmental level the measures and actions relating to the Work mission.

Workforce and resources (breakdown by category):

The Labor Center of the departmental management includes an access to law and information service, a support unit for collective bargaining and social dialogue as well as 44 labor inspection sections divided into 4 control units (4 CUs, 44 agents control, 12 assistance agents).

The access to law and information service provides information for users on labor law (physical reception by appointment, telephone, mail and messaging) and the management of various systems (employee advisers, approval of contractual terminations, prefectural derogation in work, follow-up of the administrative and penal action of the labor inspectorate, …)

The service is made up of 12 agents, including 8 agents in charge of intelligence (3 in Rouen, 4 in Le Havre, 1 in Dieppe).
